New rfc on merging List of cryptids

Since you participated in the rfc earlier in the year, I am letting you know of another rfc to merge List of cryptids. Which ever way the wind blows you are welcome to join in. Fyunck(click) (talk) 07:50, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Meat-puppetry related to list of cryptids

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you. That's definitely NOT what happened. Slandering my name is not okay.--Paleface Jack (talk) 17:50, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

Late replies

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to stuff. I figured I would do it here since my Talk Page is so backed up. I have recently started editing Wikipedia regularly again. I'm going to go through and clean my Talk Page and hopefully start being on top of responding to everything. I was also involved in a time-consuming years-long administrative matter that has now ended.

To address some of the key points you have raised:

  • If the user is still doing his POV-pushing across cryptid articles, my advice would be to open a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard. If the Wikiproject responds, that may very well solve the issue and determine a consensus.
  • I'm going to try and get Halloween (2018 film) to GA quality, and help bring the Leatherface draft to FA quality. I recently nominated Hellraiser: Judgment for a GA review as well. It looks like Chatterer was turned to a redirect by an administrator due to a lack of quality and sourcing, although I wouldn't call it irreversible since there was no consensus or deletion discussion. I don't think I will have enough time to do much on Begotten, since sources are scarce, but if you need anything specific done or have sources containing information that hasn't been added yet, I can definitely help out there.
  • On a side note, my Professor Pyg draft has been put on hold due to time constraints.

If I missed anything or if you have any questions, feel free to let me know. Sorry for the long wait. DarkKnight2149 19:34, 20 January 2019 (UTC)

No need to apologize, it's great to see that you are still alive since I thought you were either dead or you were mad at me for involving you with the whole BloodofFox issue. In regards to THAT fiasco, I was given the exact same advice but I was debating whether or not I should do it since I don't think I have the sort of sanity that goes with that, and that whole thing has sort of been getting worse in that user's interactions with me. Anyways, no need to worry about the Begotten article. You can always check the talk page on the userspace draft for all the tasks that I still need to do. Thanks for all the help and the heads up man, if there's anything you need help with don't hesitate to ask.--Paleface Jack (talk) 21:13, 21 January 2019 (UTC)

File:The Wind, 2019 Theatrical Release Poster.jpg

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages.
