Stroud Mall is an indoor shopping mall located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. It is located in The Poconos region of Pennsylvania, just a few minutes from the New Jersey border adjacent to Pennsylvania Route 611 and Interstate 80 exit 305. The mall is one level with the exception of the former Sears, which is two. A free covered parking deck is located behind the former Sears store at the east entrance and northeast entrances to the mall.

History

The mall was opened in 1978 and renovated in 2002.[1] On November 8, 2018, it was announced the Sears store at Stroud Mall would close by February of 2019 as part of a plan to close 40 stores nationwide.[2] Sears was the site of the first escalator in Monroe County when they moved from downtown to the Mall in 1995.
