Virus classification e
(unranked): Virus
Phylum: Negarnaviricota
  • Haploviricotina
  • Polyploviricotina

The phylum Negarnaviricota includes all negative-sense single-stranded RNA viruses (group V in Baltimore classification) except Hepatitis delta virus. It is divided into the subphyla Haploviricotina and Polyploviricotina.[1] As of 4 November 2018 it is the sole viral phylum to be established, though it does not include all viruses as many have not been assigned to a phylum.[1]

The taxonomy of the Negarnaviricota down to the rank of order is as follows:[1]
