Fereej Kulaib (Arabic: فريج كليب‎) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Doha.[1]

Transport

Major roads that run through the district are Al Jazira Al Arabiya Street, Jassim Bin Hamad Street, Ahmed Bin Ali Street, and Ibn Obada Street.[3]

Currently, the underground Fereej Kulaib Metro Station is under construction, having been launched during Phase 2A. Once completed, it will be part of Doha Metro's Green Line.[4]

Demographics

As of the 2010 census, the district comprised 1,468 housing units[5] and 198 establishments.[6] There were 7,702 people living in the district, of which 60% were male and 40% were female. Out of the 679 inhabitants, 73% were 20 years of age or older and 27% were under the age of 20. The literacy rate stood at 95.7%.[7]

Employed persons made up 60% of the total population. Females accounted for 26% of the working population, while males accounted for 74% of the working population.[7]
