East Suffolk is a future local government district in Suffolk, England, which will be established on 1 April 2019, following the merger of the existing Suffolk Coastal and Waveney districts.[1] At the 2011 census, the two districts had a combined population of 239,552.

The main towns in the new district include Lowestoft, Beccles, Bungay, Felixstowe and Saxmundham.

The district covers a similar, but smaller, area to the former county of East Suffolk, whose county council was abolished by the Local Government Act 1972.
