Youth groups

The Abbey is a great place to visit for youth groups. Your young people will have the chance to explore ideas around faith, British history, identity and much more.

What will happen on your visit

Your visit to the Abbey will be bespoke to your group and might include a visit to the memorial to Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, The Grave of the Unknown Warrior, The RAF Chapel, or any other relevant links for your group.

Your tour will also include the Abbey's highlights including the Coronation Chair, the site of Coronations for the British monarch, the beautiful Lady Chapel and Poets’ Corner. We are likely to take a moment of quiet and reflection to light a candle together as people have done in the Abbey for centuries.

How to book

We welcome all booking enquiries. In the first instance send an email to [email protected].

We will ask you to complete our standard booking form which will be the beginning of our conversation to tailor your trip to your group.

I’ve worked here for over thirty years and have seen many of the major services - it’s strange to realise that you are in a small way part of history.
