We offer a specially developed route map and themed trails to help you lead a successful self-led visit. Please also read our information pack before you visit.

Group sizes

You’ll need at least one teacher or helper to every ten pupils.

Large groups of students will need to be split, with the entry times staggered to avoid overcrowding.


Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students
£6 per pupil

Adults accompanying Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students
One adult per ten pupils – free
Any other adults – £14 each

Visiting during August

School groups visiting during August will need to take a Private Group Group, accompanied by a Blue Badge Tourist Guide.
