Family Wreath for Remembrance

In the summer we invited families to make poppies and add those poppies to a wreath to remember those who have died for their country.

We completed three wreaths over three days and each afternoon the wreath was laid at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.

Adults and children were able to take part in this act of remembrance together

I’ve worked here for over thirty years and have seen many of the major services - it’s strange to realise that you are in a small way part of history.
