PRESERVING HUNTINGTON'S HERITAGE SINCE 1903

The Resource Center and Archives is located in the former Huntington Sewing and Trade School at 209 Main Street, Huntington Village.

Hours are Monday and Thursday from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Due to limited staffing, appointments are required. Researchers from out of the area should contact the archives directly in advance to confirm scheduled hours in order to make the most of their research trip.

There is a $5.00 donation per day per person for use of the collection. There is no charge for Huntington Historical Society members or students through high school. Photocopies are 25¢ each.

For those researchers unable to visit the facility in person we do offer a record search service (see details above), you may contact the archives at (631) 427-7045 x 406 or [email protected] . The Huntington Historical Society is closely monitoring updates regarding COVID-19. All programs and events scheduled for March and April are postponed. Thank you for your support of the Society and your understanding as we work to keep our volunteers, members and community safe. For any questions please contact us at [email protected]
