Interest D. Gray-man Celebrates Halloween with Themed Cafe

Celebrate Halloween with the D. Gray-Man Hallow cast at a limited-time, themed cafe complete with original, character-themed food, drinks, and limited edition goods.

The "D. Gray-Man HALLOWEEN CAFE" will take place in Tokyo's Harajuku AREA-Q cafe from October 14 to 31. Tickets for the event went on sale on September 27 for 2,800 yen (US$27.70). One ticket includes entry into the cafe, your choice of the Black Order meal set

or the Noah Family meal set,

and a face towel, set of stickers, and place mat.

There is also a special menu of themed drinks, each 700 yen (US$6.92), such as Allen's Pina Colada,

Kanda's Blue Tonic,

Lavi's Vegetable Juice,

Lenalee's Vienna Coffee,

Link's Original Blend Tea,

Tyki's Black Honey Coffee Float,

Wisely's Honey Lemon Tea,

Road's Marshmallow Cocoa,

and Millennium Earl's Tapioca Milk Tea.

Along with your drink, you also get an chibi coaster of one of nine character at random.

Apart from the food, drinks, and gift goods, the cafe will also have "D.Gray-man HALLOWEEN CAFE" limited edition illustration goods available. These include sets of 2 clear files for 800 yen (US$7.91),

a set of 4 IC card stickers for 1,600 yen (US$15.83),

a clear drink bottle for 1,600 yen (US$15.83),

a pass case for 1,300 yen (US$12.86),

a denim tote bag for 2,100 yen (US$20.77),

a set of 9 tapestries for 3,200 yen (US$31.66),

a set of 9 acrylic stands for 1,900 yen (US$18.80),

a decorated mug for 1,600 yen (US$15.83),

a blind pack of secret post cards (price to be determined),

a blind pack of secret acrylic keychains for 500 yen (US$4.95),

and a blind pack of secret can badges for 500 yen (US$4.95).

The official website for the collaboration cafe holds more information and online ticket order placement. Attendees chose their seats ahead of time with their tickets and the cafe will work on a 90 minute rotation system for customers.

D. Gray-man Hallow premiered on July 4 and finished on September 27 with 13 episodes. It is a continuation of the story from the previous D. Gray-man anime series which aired from October 2006 to September 2008 with 103 episodes. Katsura Hoshino wrote the original manga, which ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from 2004 to 2009, when it transferred to Jump SQ monthly until 2012. In July 2015 the series picked back up from hiatus. Funimation licensed the first anime series and streamed D. Gray-man Hallow as it aired in Japan.
