    SK Cherkasy Monkeys (Superleague) signed 26-year old American forward Dion Wright (201-100kg-93, college: St.Bonaventure). He played last season at Al Ittihad in Libyan D1 league. Wright also played for AEL Limassol (Division A) in Cypriot league where in 18 games he had 14.2ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.8apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week.
    The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Atlantic 10 Tournament Semifinals in 2014. Wright was also voted HS CIF Southern Section Division II Player of the Year back in 2012 at his college time.
    Wright has played on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Israel (Hapoel Migdal Haemek), Japan (Sendai 89ers) and Cyprus (Etha).
    Wright attended St. Bonaventure University until 2016 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.

Al Tahaddi was crushed at home by 72 points 46-118 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. They still close the standings with 14 games lost.

    There was no surprise in Almarj where 5th ranked KBW (2-12) was crushed by second ranked Morog (12-3) 103-44 on Friday. The victory was the third consecutive win for Morog. They maintain second place in Group B with 12-3 record having just two point less than leader Ahly Tripoli. KBW lost their seventh game in a row.
