After Darkness...                                           Light

The Official Pennsylvania Memorial to the Victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks

Three Header Buttons

September 11 marks a time to reflect on the day that changed our lives forever. Our nation lost 2,977, our community was hit hard when we lost 9 souls from Lower Makefield Township and 18 from Bucks County.

September 11th Remembrance Ceremonies:

8:30AM  A morning Remembrance Ceremony will mark the chronological events with music and prayer.

7:00PM  Candlelight Ceremony. A Night of Healing and Hope.

We want to thank our community for an overwhelming show of support to the victims’ families always, but especially during this time. We also want to thank everyone for your continued help creating a self-sustaining memorial showing we Never Forget.

The Garden of Reflection is a sacred place where we come together to Honor, Remember and Celebrate the lives of all we lost on September 11, 2001. It is situated in Memorial Park amid the natural beauty of Historical Bucks County farmland in Lower Makefield Township.

The Memorial designed by Yardley architect Liuba Lashchyk AIA invites us on a walking Memorial Journey symbolizing “After Darkness…Light”. This Memorial Journey leads from sorrowful reminders of tragedy and grief towards luminous symbols of hope, Peace and Celebration of Life.

Thank you for your donation to the “Remembrance Fund” endowment to help preserve the integrity of this 9-11 Memorial in perpetuity so future generations will have a place to REMEMBER and HONOR those taken from us.

We are a 501(c)3 organization and your donation is tax deductible and greatly appreciated!
