When I try to open the link above, I get a 500 error? But I need a solution for the problem: 'blank page when replying a discussion'...

Looking at LiquidThreads

Cool or not cool?

Tempe (talk)‎04:23, 13 May 2009

Cool I think. Yes I do.

Tempe (talk)‎04:23, 13 May 2009

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it?

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like). Steven Walling 02:06, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Tempe (talk)‎04:25, 13 May 2009

Yeah. This is cool. I'm wondering if threads will someday work with interwiki linking. As in m:Extention talk:LiquidThreads and v:Talk:LiquidThreads. Oh by the way m:Extention talk:LiquidThreads should map to mw:Extention talk:LiquidThreads because most of those type page at Meta have been moved to MediaWiki.org.

Documentation

Is there documentation for lqt somehwere?

Here are some things that would be nice to figure out:

  • how to set up a page where all thread titles could be browsable
  • limit editing threads to registered users only
  • easily see recently updated threads
  • move threads from one page to another
  • are very old threads deleted? if so after how long and how to change the time threshold

Saving original talk pages?

Thread summary:[Link to] [Edit]

sdfds

I run a small wiki that already has a lot of content on the talk pages. I'm installing LT to try to organize the content better. From what I can see, the original talk pages can't be accessed after LT is enabled. Is there a way to have the original talk pages archived/accessed somewhere for reference/copy-pasting to the new LT talk pages?
