NEWS: Nine Inch Nails confirm ‘Not The Actual Events’ is part of a trilogy; two EPs imminent!

June 6th, 2017

Back in December, industrial metal legends Nine Inch Nails released their ‘Not The Actual Events’ EP; a 6-track release that followed up their 2013 full-length effort, ‘Hesitation Marks’. Now, via a recent email to customers in an update for recent delayed vinyl orders, founder and mastermind of the project Trent Reznor confirmed more EPs are soon to follow.

In the email update to the affect customers, following initial updates and news regarding their delayed vinyl orders, Reznor confesses that a new EP will be released within the next couple of months, and that last year’s ‘Not The Actual Events’ is actually the first part of a trilogy of releases that will be issued 6-8 months apart from one another, meaning there’s actually a further two EPs to be released very soon.

As per the email in question, Reznor commented, “Did you know there’s a new top-secret Nine Inch Nails EP that will be released before the first shows we do this Summer? Did you know ‘Not The Actual Events’ was the first part of a trilogy of related EPs that will be released about 6-8 months apart? Now you do. More information on this shortly…”

More details surrounding these forthcoming releases will be established and confirmed as and when they develop.
