Pedestrian traffic moves through this tower (via an arched galleria at 7th Avenue), across the open mall (between West 51st and 52nd Streets), and into the Old Equitable Tower. The arch form is repeated in the top of the building's east and west sides, while recesses and setbacks accentuate it's height along the north and south faces.
