SMASHING PUMPKINS, MARILYN MANSON, SLAYER Confirmed For Switzerland's GREENFIELD FESTIVAL - Feb. 6, 2007 SMASHING PUMPKINS, MARILYN MANSON and SLAYER have been confirmed for the Greenfield Festival, set to take place June 15-17 in Interlaken, Switzerland. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE
ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES
For more information, visit www.greenfieldfestival.ch.
Launch Radio Networks reported last week that it's looking more and more likely that the relaunched SMASHING PUMPKINS will not include original members James Iha on guitar and D'Arcy Wretzky on bass. PUMPKINS manager Paul Geary hinted at a different formation in comments he made to MTV.com, saying, "I've been involved with bands whose members can't stand each other, and over time they run out of dough and that's why they (reunite). But Billy's (Corgan, PUMPKINS leader) making a great record, and for the sake of a younger generation that he wants to turn on to the band's music, he is doing it with a band that will more faithfully re-create the old songs than ever before."
Upcoming SMASHING PUMPKINS shows:
Jun. 02 - Rock Am Ring - Nürburgring, GER
Jun. 03 - Rock Im Park - Nürnberg, GER
Jun. 15 - Nova Rock - Nickelsdorf, AUT
Jun. 17 - Greenfield - Interlaken, SWI To report any abusive, obscene, defamatory, racist, homophobic or threatening comments, or anything that may violate any applicable laws, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with pertinent details. Manson, Slayer, The Hives, Flogging Molly...? I'm quite convinced nobody attending this festival will be interested in all of the bands :P

are more than one stages. that means that maybe one day on one stage will be a metalday, and so on.
so where's the problem? i like Manson, Slayer, The Hives and Flogging Molly. i listen 90% to metal music but i've seen The Hives and Flogging Molly at some festivals and it was different but also not bad. why only listening to one kind of music?
