Room with geometric mosaics with allegories of the four seasonsItaly / Sicily / Piazza Armerina / Villa Romana del Casale
The room was the antechamber of the cubiculum in the Room of the Fishing Cupids.
The mosaic in the room is geometric. Horizontal and diagonal lines from a grid of rhombs and stars, the latter with circular emblems inserted, some of which contain allegories of the four seasons, while others contain images of fish and birds.
The mosaic is very well preserved, with only minor damage.
