Museum with finds from the area of the Roman ForumItaly / Rome / Forum Romanum
Many finds from the excavations on the Forum are kept in the Antiquarium, including reconstructions of tombs from the necropolis, finds from the Temple of Vesta and from the House of the Vestal Virgins, a cast of the inscription on the Lapis Niger, imperial portraits and statues, and the frescoes from the churches of Sant’Adriano and Santa Maria Antiqua.
