Hear New Trent Reznor Music

Theme for the film Tetsuo: The Bullet Man

UPDATE: The How to Destroy Angels Twitter feed also notes that a new HTDA song, "The Believers", is included in the iPad edition of the new Wired magazine. It's part of an interactive feature on the group, which you can read here.

More new music from Trent Reznor. The blog Some Kind of Awesome brings us "Theme for Tetsuo: The Bullet Man".

The clanking, buzzing instrumental soundtracks the end credits of Japanese director Shinya Tsukamoto's film Tetsuo: The Bullet Man. It's the third film in Tsukamoto's unbelievably disturbing and bugged-out Tetsuo series, following 1989's Tetsuo: The Iron Man and 1992's Tetsuo II: Body Hammer.

According to the NIN Hotline, Tsukamoto's completed the film without Reznor's song, and it screened at festivals without the track. But when Reznor came through with the composition, Tsukamoto added it to the end credits. Stream or download the track at Some Kind of Awesome.

In other Reznor-related news, How to Destroy Angels, Reznor's new group with his wife Mariqueen Maandig, may now have a release date for their self-titled EP. According to Amazon, the disc drops July 6.
