Brazil and Ecuador tied 0-0 in the last game of Copa America day two. While both teams came away with a point, the Brazilian fans in attendance rained down boos as the game concluded. They were likely disappointed in the lack of Brazilian scoring.

The discussion after the match will center around a missed call at the 65′ mark. The ball was ruled out but the replays showed it was still in play. Ecuador scored a goal that was waived off because of the out of bounds call.

Both Brazil and Ecuador were the two favorites to advance out of Group B entering the tournament. Brazil is ranked 7th in the FIFA world rankings while Ecuador is 13th. Brazil is without Neymar for the tournament, but the star player was in attendance for the match.

Both teams play again on Wednesday, June 8. Brazil plays Haiti while Ecuador plays group leader Peru.
