In its expository power this book attained the status of a world masterpiece. Almost all significant areas of Indian thought have been covered and hence it becomes a must-read for those who want to do something in the philosophical tradition of ancient India. The special feature of this volume is its elegant and wise treatment of ecosophical attitude of ancient Indians which is a rare topic in the titles like this. I am sure that this book is the most complete of its kind ever written.
