Rehash of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, featuring high-resolution VGA graphics, digitized sound effects, and new locations.
The life cycle is self-explanatory: sign up for a case, travel between locations questioning witnesses, obtain warrants, and make arrests, and you have approximately a week to do so. The options you can do in each location are the same: you can question witnesses, look up evidence reports, or contact Crime Net to receive additional information about the suspect such as features, hair and eye color, auto, and sport. If you're lucky, you can contact other informants like Bart Samson and Vinnie the Squealer.
Once you get enough information about the suspect, you can transmit this information to Warren the Warrant Robot to make him get a warrant for you. If you're not sure about the information you've entered, you can look up the dossiers on each suspect.
Unlike the rest of the Carmen Sandiego games, you're given a quiz just before you get promoted, requiring you to look up the reference that came with the game. If you keep get promoted, you may find yourself in the hall of fame.
Locations include (but not limited to) Kathmandu, Dar-es-Salaam, Baghdad, Manila, Lima, Port Moresby, Singapore, New Delhi, and Tokyo. You can also travel to ACME HQ in San Francisco, but the only thing you can do is start a new case, or assign a new detective.

Subject: Worked Fine for Me I'm not done yet, but I'm on the rank just below Hall of Fame. Have not had any glitches so far. As far as saving - as long as I sign in with the same username, it brings my profile back up.
My only "complaint" is the info on the Yukon! When you travel to Canada sometimes, it tells you the most northern national park is in the Yukon, which it's not! It's in Nunavut, and would have been in the Northwest Territories at the time the game was made. It's basically across the country from the Yukon. It also says that Yukon means "the land that never melts", which is entirely untrue. The word "Yukon" comes from "yucho", meaning great water. The word itself refers to the river, not the entire territory.

Subject: Game stopped I was Sr Inspector and the game stopped/frooze. I was very sad. The game is still awesome, but I guess this was a demo of some sort.
If you want to be able to play with the mouse, use fullscreen.

Subject: Unable to save I know there's ways to make sure these streaming only games can save. Please implement, as this game, and many like it, take a LONG time to finish. Reviewer: Leileya - favorite - January 10, 2015
Subject: What happened? I recently came across these archives from a news outlet app (The Huffington Post) and had played both Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego as well as The Oregon Trail. Unfortunately after many hours of play the game suddenly stopped working. I come on tonight to play to find that the game had been updated. Generally I have no problem with changes to a game style however this update has left the mouse via a computer out of sync with the onscreen mouse which causes the game to be more difficult than needs to be. Also I have noticed a distortion in the audio play back of the Chief causing much of what he says to be difficult to understand. If it is at all possible please find a way to sync the mouses a little better at least so that game play can be accomplished as well as clearing up the audio for the chief. Subject: Great Game I really like this game. My biggest problem is the mouse doesn't match up with the mouse on the game so I have to use the arrow keys to move the mouse and makes it a little difficult to maneuver.
