Deaths From 9/11 Illnesses Will Outnumber Those Lost

posted by Bill Strange -  Sep 12, 2018

Toxic residue from the 9/11 attacks is still claiming lives.  Dr. Michael Caine, medical director of the World Trade Center Health Program at Mount Sinai, tells the Journal News that soon more people will have died from diseases caused by toxic exposure at ground zero than on September 11th, 2001.

Nearly 10,000 first responders, and others who were at the World Trade Center, have been diagnosed with cancer and more than 2,000 have so far died from 9/11 related illnesses.  Dr. Caine says it takes years, sometimes decades, for cancers to develop.
